As a small but scaled replica of the Byodoin Temple of Japan, the Byodo-In Temple in Valley of the Temples Memorial Park is breathtaking. When you add in the exotic, tropical, and diverse seven-acre landscape tucked under the picturesque Ko’olau Mountains of Hawaii, it’s difficult to imagine a more appropriate or romantic location for the exchange of your wedding vows. Here are a few reasons why you may want to contact our event coordinator for your wedding:
Experience an opulent wedding at an affordable rate.
Our wedding rates for the Byodo-In Temple are far more reasonable and affordable than what you would expect from a facility of this beauty and significance. Wedding fees cover up to two hours for your ceremony and photography session. Do note, however, that you should bring your own photographer, as we do not keep one on staff.
Begin your marriage in an environment of peace and tranquility.
Wedding planning can be stressful as everyone rushes around trying to ensure the perfection of each detail. At Byodo-In Temple, nature provides the ideal backdrop while the temple itself is beautiful enough for a wedding with minimal decoration. This environment and reduction of stressful planning allows you to enter your marriage relaxed and focused on your life together.
Capture the essence of a tropical paradise.
Byodo-In Temple’s location in Oahu provides the exotic wonder that only a tropical location can offer. With beautiful peacocks, lush plant life, reflecting ponds, and waterfalls, your wedding can be everything you could have ever dreamed it to be and more. That’s not something that you’ll find at your everyday wedding venue in the city!
